i have made a text walktrough for the field commands 1, 2 and 3. i give also some info. maybe there are some variations of the decisions but you will survive with this information. you can play the field commands on:

info: this is a normal ww2 or modern fight. it has codes, 3 missions and no checkpoints the codes has to been made by the arrow keys, you can also click on the coming arrows.

info: this a fight in the desert, it has some checkpoints, 2 long missions, some self shoot time, codes made by words and some fast decisions!

field command 3
info this is a fight in 1877. you are the American Indians and your enemy is the English army. this game has 5 missions, no codes!! and some checkpoints. look out!!: level 3 has a bug! is you make a mistake you can't pres retry! so make no mistakes! (level 3 is the hardest level!) there is also a mini game, you can skip it but when you do it you have to shoot animals for food.

Thanks, helped a lot! Field command is a good game, but there is just a little logic in there, so I don't like it very much.

As for your description, Field Command 1 is set in the Vietnam War, not WWII; Field Command 2 is in Iraq; and Field Command 3 is based on the real-life exploits of Chief Joseph's Indians against the American army in the Indian Wars, not the British.

You cannot expect people to respond immediately.

Your guide is pretty good. Not the most amazing but adequate indeed.

Well, this game is beaten through guess & error.
It really has nothing to do with knowledge of war strategic positions.

The walk through for Field Commander 1 does not work...
Its not 1,1,1,2,2 Its 1,1,2,2,2 for the first mission.
