I'm gonna say The Verve. I just love the song Bittersweet Symphony. Whenever I feel a little spiritual it's a great song to listen to.

Not a real huge fan of either group, but I am a huge fan of Bittersweet Symphony. So my vote goes to The Verve.

Can't recall ever hearing of Stone Roses. I do like The Verve so they get my vote.
