Depends on what kind of techno.
Bassy techno is amazing no matter what, but when you put high pitch vocals in it like a lot of artists do, not nice.

Classic rock however, is just. amazing.

Anyway, since its back, i'll answer. As much as i love techno, classic rock takes the cake. Cuz i'd be missing a lot of other music from my ipod w/o it.
