Fun fact how much was the tax on tea when the Boston tea party occurred? One cent per year for the average tea drinking individual. Anyway the whole point is hey look were in a recession here taxing us helps NO one. Not that I'm saying I agree but they have a fair point I mean the government is steadily getting bigger which I consider a bit of a problem, but taxing meh it's not THAT bad.

Do police officers, firefighters, etc help people?  Does road, sewage, etc maintenance help people?  The money has to come from somewhere.

Like I said I don't care about taxing but as apparent they do. Really they have the most logic don't tax us and we'll have more money. But they don't stop to consider any variables i.e. what you said. The argument is take the money from elsewhere personally I'd be in favor of firing a couple thousand American politicians to drop a few million in spending.

Parties^^...

learn grammar usage good.

You don't understand. taxation is an important part of government, without it many of you will not see prisons, fire fighters, policemen and stations, public schools, infrastructure ect. The point of the Boston Tea party was to show the british government that the people did not like taxation without representation.

What makes me mad is that a lot of the people who are holding the Tea Parties to protest the taxes won't even be affected by the tax raises that the new administration is putting into place.

I just commented on that right after your previous post. Reading it might be a good idea, but that's just my opinion... >.>

It's ok. I still love you. ^_^

And just BTW for everyone, they weren't protesting the fact that they have to pay taxes, well most of them anyway, but that the government spending is out of control.
