Alright, I noticed a lot of people complaining that Drunken Masters was way too hard for them. It's not really that hard, it's just a matter of keeping people happy. In this guide I'll give you a few tips on makin' drinks and gettin' tips.
First thing I'd like to say is if you have slow reflexes, this game will NOT be your best friend. Go play pong for a while and hone those gaming skills! I'm not ashamed to admit I did it. This game will require your FULL concentration and you MUST be able to quickly be able to pick something out.
Okay, now onto the fun part - bartending.
It's understandable not to know exactly how to make all the drinks in this game. But just click the name of the drink and it'll have all the ingredients listed, and even give you an arrow to the glass you need. If you're not quite sure which bottle to grab, click the ingredient and it'll tell you. However, once you start playing the game you'll start recognizing the bottles instantly and even memorizing the drinks themselves.
Next thing to remember: Combos, combos, combos! Build up the biggest combos you can and DON'T LET THEM BREAK! Easiest way to charge up your signature meter is simply to flip the bottle against the right or left wall, catch it, lather, rinse, repeat. If you want to go REALLY fancy, you can grab the ice, throw it up with a LITTLE bit of force (IE just off the screen), flip out a cup, catch the ice, set down the cup, flip up the first bottle, do a handspin, start pouring, etcetera. Not only does it LOOK really neat but it also gets your customers' mood meters up and helps a bunch with your signature meter. Watch the meters under the customers - the lighter colors are what you have on the CURRENT COMBO and will be LOST if you break the combo. So don't drop any bottles!
Another thing you want to remember - DON'T ACCIDENTALLY DROP THE DRINK ON THE WRONG CUSTOMER. That will result in you losing one of your VIP cards, and at higher levels those can be worth a nice chunk of change.
Which character would I recommend? I prefer Johnny because he combines the ability to keep customers happy if you get flustered with some flipping ability. April's also good if you're a beginner, because her charisma helps keep the customers entertained.
