well saving two copies is just a waste of space.

i prefer pcs.
1. i grew up with them so i am more used to how they work.
2. secondly i do not have any problems with games or other software.
3. i have full compatibility with most other computer users(pc is used by the majority)
4. i do not have to pay insane prices for a mac.
5. well thats pretty much it.

Well this is another repeat thread

I haven't seen one recently. Mind giving a link?

Anyway, I wish I had a mac. They're just cooler. However, I'd probably be lost when I get it out of the box xP Take me awhile to figure out at least, lol. I've grown up with PCs.

mac is better all around for using & safety. PC is more common and offers some programming. linux is meant for programming

those PC ads say mac doesn't have good asthetics (custom colors) or is too small or isn't 700 dollars. if you look at the 700$ commercial the baby is crying not happy lol

Since I'm used to them, I use PC's. They also have the best compatibility.

I hate working with apple computers; they are *such* a pain in my ass.

PCs have better software support, better/more games, more hardware support (from input devices to custom components) they're much cheaper in terms of bang for your buck - Apple makes you pay through the nose for even something basic, more operating systems have better support for the PC platform hardware; it's easier to get parts/service for PCs when you need it (because Macs are machines and they break like anything else)

PCs work better in large scale networks; PCs are more sophisticated and reliable when it comes to server OS & running a domain.

And even about the cases 'looking better'? If you don't like the way your PC looks, you can invest in a custom case & you get a lot more choices from a bunch of different companies to get something that suits you.

I can't think of anything I prefer to use a mac for.

I did like the internal case design for the G4 because it was easy to work inside... but they *%^#&'ed that up with the G5 design, which is terrible, cramped & irritating to work inside, especially when you have specialty cards (which the drivers are so annoying to install) and you have to remove half of your components just to reach the damn SATA plugs on the motherboard.

*sigh*

Okay, I'm done ranting.

Mac don't crash (at least far ess than PCs)...
MAc are way better for video editing (Final Cut rulezzz!!)
Of course they're mroe expensive...but they're more beautiful too...

2 Days ago, I got an ALX X58 Alienware desktop
It has these specs:
* Core⢠i7 975 OC'd to 3.86GHz
* Intel® X58 Chipset
* NVIDIA® GTX 295
* 1600MHz DDR3 Memory
* Windows® Vista Ultimate 64 Bit
* High-Performance Liquid Cooling

It pwns every mac out there.
Cost me 3,500 f*cking dollars though.
but it was worth it.
