Recently my Ps2 has been freaking out. For all of you that have one I could use some help. I click browser, and now can see the screen where it shows your memory cards and discs in. When I put the disc in the bottom of the screen says "reading disc" for a while but stops, and doesnt read the disc. Any ideas? Thanks
Some of the originals had design errors in them that let dust flow too freely around the system, gets on the laser. Surprised it's only happened now. I would recommend buying a laser cleaner. Can get them for about a fiver. Basically a disc with some fibres on it. I'd also think about taking the casing off and taking a can of compressed air or a hoover to it to clean out all the crap that gets in there. Hope this helps.
