And it would probally mean more lags. Personally I like the idea but don't think this will pass. Also, who's going to sort out what's a similiar game? And we already got the different class tabs.
Well with a related games bar you need an entire system to figure out related games. Although easily accomplished if implement early on, would have worked but now it won't.
You see, related games work like this: you have many categories for games, and I mean a tooon, hundreds, and each game you choose out every one that it works for. So let's say you do Sonny, it would be in Zombies, RPG, Strategy, Long, Custom Equipment, and a bunch of other things it offers. Then it would be compared to other games and the ones with the most similarities, so games that might be RPG, be long, have custom equipment, and might possible contain zombies, would be in the related games.
The problem is that they'd have to go and sort through 900 previous games and play them all, then add the metatags to all of them before this would work. And that takes a lot of time, which they don't have.

Actually, it might not be. Each game has a series of tags attached to it. I would imagine that the system could just pull games with similar types of tags. Although I am not sure how accurate that would end up being.
