My favorite MMORPG was Tibia. But now it's over-run with Brazilians and such. Now I get on Guild Wars.. Don't know how much further I can get with a GeForce 7300GT.
Runescape was the best. you may look me up if you like its Superjoseph9 =P but now i have been playing worl of warcraft for a year now and have enjoyed it very much. i will reccomend it if you are fine with the 15$ per month
I haven't come across any MMORPGs really worth playing, but WoW sounds pretty good. My parents won't let me play it though, they think it is the spawn of Satan for some reason.
I think the best mmorpg is Runes of Magic. This game is exactly like WoW, but it's free! I liked RuneScape but sadly to get alot of the fun you had to become a member. I know it doesnt seem like alot to pay five dollars for extra fun but thats the point, I want everything right there. I did like how to leveling system required the player to level every combat skill for a high level.
Still,depends on your standards and what you like in a game I suppose.

World of Warcraft is the best MMORPG in the WORLD by a long shot. First of all its unbeatable Second of all its Graphics and Game play are 100x better then Runescape's. Runescrape i would put 2nd on my list because its Free for the most part and it kept me entertained when i was 11 haha. So point blank WoW is the all time best game just ask the 11million plus people who play at out there then go to www.worldofwarcraft.com then click on there 10 day free trial. The only downside to WoW is the money but if you dont want to pay then go onto a Private server witch is free but there is lag like crazy. -NumberUno
I think WoW is the best, I haven't played for very long and my friends bought it for me so I haven't payed for it yet. I looked up Runes of Magic and I must say it looks interesting, however I'm lazy and forget things fast so I don't know if I'll ever get to it.
Despite not playing MMOs WoW is one of the best, it's just common knowledge. What I don't understand is why you'd pay $15 a month for Runescape when WoW, an immensely better game, costs the same.
