Just wondering. Sometimes guns can be good, but then again giving guns to those random terrorists group in Iraq is bad. So generally is it good or bad?

A gun is just an object that does nothing unless someone makes it do something. It is not so much if the gun is bad, but is the person using the gun bad. Otherwise I like guns and have a few. Trap shooting is fun :]

Which terrorist group do we give guns to? If that's a reference to Blackwater, they're mercenaries. Guns are good otherwise.

A gun cannot be bad or good. You see, it's all about the intentions that those guns are used for. It I were to pick up a hockey stick and start attacking people with it. Would that render the hockey stick 'bad'? Therefor, he who is using the gun and how they are using it, is what the gun in turn is.

Guns are objects made by humans to do certain things, just like blades and swords etc. They all serve a purpose. You cannot categorize them as bad or good.
