Hello.
So here's the deal. I've always been a big fan of Pokemon, and I would love it if Nintendo considered making a 5th Generation. But to be honest, i was very dissapointed with Pokemon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum, and I want to see a lot of improvements in a 5th Generation.
I am a very curious person, so I would really like to know what you guys would like to see in a 5th Generation.
One thing I would like to see is a "Light" type to be added into the game. The legendaries of the series could be Pokemon of Light and Dark, Ying and Yang etcetera.
But that is just my opinion and I'm more interested in other people's opinions than my own, so please do post what you think!
Thanks!

I do like pokemon and I see what your saying, but changing it now would drastically change the series. I've been playing pokemon games all my life and I do think they could make some improvements, maybe just not that big.

Well, the thing I didn't like about 4th Gen was that some Pokemon were so... weird. There were atleast 10 Legendaries, as apposed 5(?) in the first 3. The creativity was rather odd, a few of the Pokemon I liked. I'd say that maybe 1/4 of 4th-Gen was Pre/Post-Evolution for Pokemon that weren't supposed to evolve. Example: Munchlax->Snorlax
The games are good, I like the improvements they made from Red+Blue to Pearl+Diamond. There's more to do, instead of "CATCHING EM ALL!"

I am not really happy with the fourth generation, many of the pokemon seem to be unnecessary evolutions or just darn ugly, and with the high amount of legendaries, there is not much legendary about them.
As for the light type, well, I think I have seen in a game (pokemoncrater, if anyone remember that) that there were light versions of the sprites, though it is not what you are asking...
There are quite a few pokemon that would fit into that type, but since it has not implemented they are stuck outside if it ever was, unless they are to regroup the pokemon...

Sorry, I'm kinda out of that stuff(But my little brother is obsessed with it) The TV show is really screwed up but the game was ok. They have enough Pokemon games as it is

I was content with the original 151 pokemon. I think it was a better story back then, and now it's evolved into something that seemingly has no true direction. But I guess that is how things develop...

I Agree with what you said. after all they did add the dark types in the second generation and steel types as well so why not light types. personally id like a cross-breeding thing which you can use to make you own types of pokemon. However if they could add a longer storyline and a journey where you actually need to reach around lvl.100 it would make it so much better.

Thanks for posting guys!
I agree with you Caberea, a storyline which goes up to around level 100 would make the games much more enjoyable.
Once I finish the main storyline, I find it very hard to keep up with the levels in the Battle Area, and other end-game places like that.
