The Last Stand: Union City, the third installment in the Last Stand series is currently in production and will be released in Q1 2010. It will take place during the first few weeks of infection in Union City. Taking the role of a survivor who holed up in their apartment during the initial spread of the infection, the player will be forced to venture out and make their way in the city. Escape will be the ultimate goal.

Union City will be side scrolling open world for the player to fight the hordes in and search for weapons and food. You will mould your character from the beginning, deciding appearance, background and skills. During your time in Union City you will earn experience and gain efficiency in a number of different skills, how you progress in these skills will be based of your actions.
During your travels you will encounter other survivors, they will help you get a grip on whatâs happening, tell you their situation and in some cases join your fight.
Union City itself is a living city with day and night passing as you travel, itâs once living citizens will be driven dynamically, no street or building will play the same each time you enter.
The game will have two seperate game modes - âRunân'Gunâ and âSurvivorâ. The Runân'Gun game mode will be more in line with the original games and have a focus on action and lessen the RPG elements. Survivor on the other hand will have common survival problems such as hunger, need for sleep and conservation of ammunition to deal with. Much of the story and gameplay will be identical in both modes.

How about ipod touch...? i have COD Nazi zombies on my ipod touch. Just saying... The Release date is in the first quater ( First Term in school ) Of 2010. So maybe just about January 2010 - March 2010.
i doubt it will be ready by march this is a big project and i cant see it finished in under a year he only releaced the alpha a few weels ago so im guessing hes finished the controls so now he has to make levels but if this is gonna be a continue game its gonna take alot of effort
Welllllll he did say Quarter One 2009 On the release date so... just do the math. Just telling you what he said. He could be wrong. But remember this is his daily job and he's probably working on this like 7 Hours a day... IDK.
Yes well yev gotter take the relese date of Last Stand 2 then the date he told your he's that many days behind schedul so It proply will be done by March or the summer my guess but ye dunno he could be doin like over time on this or sutin
Hate to burst your bubble guys but GCO was to be released by February of 09, and dropped in April. And GC2 was supposed to be done by the end of the year. Is there any sign of that happening??? If they don't have an official release date, it is a working date and isn't done. Whenever an official date is released, I'll have fun with you.
sorry just to top off your opinion since im the only one who was bothered to read through every comment on cons page i found out that hes taking 2 weeks off because of Christmas personally i think he'll be finished by early may maybe late april i dont know but i think the demand is to big for con to hold off lucky age of war 2 is gonna be out by end of this month it would have been released later but there is a lot of projects coming out early next year to keep us occupied till the great anticipated The Last Stand:Union City
