You decide to stay. In the morning, you are shown the cave of the Forest Spirits. It's a huge cave, choked with millions of plants, and thousands of birds and bats swarm in roosts and nests.
C'mon, let's go in!
You walk inside the cave, and see much fruit, but:
Don't touch that! It's poisonous!
As you get further in, you notice small statues carved out of stone. As you get even further, you see crystalline deposits in the Walls, and eventually, the entire tunnel is made of crystal. Eventually, you find your selves in a large cavern. Great crystal stalactites and stalagmites rise from the glassy floor. There is a simple stone altar at the center of the room. Sinjid places a lizard, still alive, on it. There is a hum, and a great, half solid tentacle of green light melts out of the floor. It grasps the lizard, and with a flash, it vanishes. The tentacles are joined by more, and eventually a huge, green sphere with glowing tentacles fills the space. It stays for a minute, and the fades into the floor again...
On the journey back out, you ask them what the Forest Spirit is.
We don't know. It only comes out to kill Water Spirits, and it eats anything, so long as it's alive.
When you get out of the cave, you hear grunts and roars. A huge beast, like a misshapen pig with fangs, tears through the undergrowth and charges at you. You notice a sharp rock on the ground about 2 feet away, and a huge tree that has fallen in the path of the beast. What do you do?

It roars in pain, and the rock is trapped in it's leg. It charges at you blindly, and you try to dodge, but get your leg cut (-15% health). It turns around again... Between you and it there is: A tree, half uprooted by the storm, several pebbles, and a thick stick. What do you do?

You collapse the tree, and run as fast as your 4 speed and injured leg allow you. Bad choice, sucka. It gores you severely on the arm (-50% health). You yell, and the creature turns round again... In it's path there is ( In order of distance). Stone, heavy stone, red plant, green plant, small sturdy tree. What do you do?

They finish scanning you, (He's clean! Alright, come with me. ) and you go through another hidden door, two of your captors holding the girl. You twist ands turn through a bewilderwing series of corridors and rooms, unto at last you climb through a secret bookcase door, through an enormous steel portal, and into a huge hall, crawling with people... The room is constructed out of steel and wood and concrete, with hige columns supporting the roof. There are many side doors, as well as three huge furnaces, of which only one is burning. Honeycombed into the walls are small rooms with ladders and staircases to reach them. The majority of them are covered in thick, dark curtains, hiding the occupants from view. A few corridors lead off to other parts of the complex.
Welcome to Hew, Natsu. The headquarters of the Hidden.
You shake your head in disbelief. You've heard of the Hidden: Small communities of humans somehow outside the influence of the Angels.
This place is completely safe. The only way in is to fall down a hidden manhole cover, walk down a sewer, find a hidden door, walk through over 500m of hidden trapdoors and secret portals, bypass 50 armed guards watching your every move through CCTV, and a plethora of traps. The walls here are nearly 10m thick, with one way in. The Angels suspect that there's a group of people in this city: but they haven't even found the drain yet.
Do you a) ask what happened to the girl, or b) ask how they survived?

You mean Ishiguru's daughter? She was... taken by the Angels a few years ago. She would never speak, but she had inordinate psychic potential. We heard from one of our operatives that she was involved in an incedent about an assciate of ours, who was ferrying people to a Hidden refugee camp in the Gobi Desert. They said she was wearing some sort of mind control device... It was destroyed, but we need to run some tests. Just in case they left anything... unwelcome inside her. We've had people blow up on us before. Come on, I'll show you where she's being kept. You walk through the hall, passing through a metal door. You walk through a series of gleaming white corridors, before arriving at a room with a sign saynig 'Lab 5' on the door. You walk past drawings of various weapons and strange devices, and strange, half complete  machines which purpose you can only guess. On these tinker people, spouting jargon and holding laser files and other equipment. Eventually, you arrive at your destination. The girl is lying comatose on a steel table, with a scanning robotic arm moving around her. Scientists talk around her.
Psychic wave patterns are off the scale, over 9000 hypercyatons...
There's a heck of a lot of nanotech in her blood - seems to be medical though...

You leave, and walk to the main hall again. Suddenly, an alert beeps on your guards belt. He opens a small clamshell device, reads something.
We gotta go to the entrance... Major Angel atactivity around the hole... Hurry kid, cone with me.
You rush to through the building, and arrive at the hidden chamber outside the tunnel, where you hear clanging footsteps. About half a dozen people ate already there, guns pointing at the hidden doorway. Pick a number between one and 12.

We put some Green Plant mush on you, and that helped.
You get up. What do you do?

Party Missions
You can send members of your party out on various missions to aid your survival. These missions are:

Combat - Fight something! You don't gain exprerience.
Hunting Missions - Kill something! To eat.
Gathering missions - Find something to eat, or something useful.

You can also command your group to do other things ( make a spear! Find a cave!). If you wish to send your group on a mission, just say: ' I send X off to do Y'.
