I've heard a lot of people say stuff along the lines of "The US is the worst country", "America sucks", and "Canada is way better than the US". But why? Give me a detailed explanation of why the US is bad, because I love it.

Because it's the perfect country and I am jealous that I was not a founding father. That is why I hate this country.

Well, we have the most power, so in a way thats true.

Growing hatred for the USA
I think there is stated a few reasons for dislike towards the US.
Hating is a rather strong word, and I am pretty sure no one actually hates the US, otherwise they would not be here on AG.

Short reason for dislike/confusion/negative comments on the US: Big country = more comments. General stereotype that Americans think themselves as superior to everything, maybe besides God. General stereotype that Americans are ignorant to the rest of the world.
And so on.
A big egoistical too, maybe, since most threads here can be related, or is related to the US (which is logical, since the majority of the users are Americans, but it still will look egoistical)
So there.

Because its an imperialist state

i dont think anyone hates the us....they proabaly perfer their homeland wherever they may be and just care about their own country.and if anyone does hate the us their just jealous..... but i dont think anyone really HATES the us.

I'm okay with America. In my opinion the people in america are very nice, but the goverment is corrupt and immoral. Especially the time when you guys were helping terrorists in Afghanistan against the Soviet Union, I find that very hurtful.

I'm American and I can say without a doubt that we are the most powerful country on Earth, but I can also say without a doubt that we are not the greatest country on Earth. I don't hate America I just can't stand some of the citizens; like gangbaners and hicks.I live in Ohio and *shudder* the amount of rednecks is..disgusting with there superiority complex down to the fact that they think computers are the work of the DEVIL *ominous mussssic.*

Pshhh watchu talkin bout?  All we did was take Puerto Rico, the Philippines, Cuba, and Hawaii against the native's will and now extending our reach to the middle east for business once again to benefit the homeland with oil.  Pssshhh... oh wait.
