Find me one government that isn't corrupt.  As far as Americans thinking only of ourselves, how do you explain some of the good we do?  I mean, I would love it if we closed our borders and didn't give a crap about the rest of the world.  We have enough issues to deal with on our own rather than try to babysit everyone else.

You have no evidence whatsoever.  This is quite silly as they work for so little which is why they can afford to sell cheaper than other countries.  The instant they pay wages similar to what is made in the US they would be unable to sell their crap products everywhere because it would be at a much higher price

China has been economically growing between 8 and 10% each year. USA has been between 1.1% and 4% for quite a few years now. Sure China has quite a bit to catch up, but within time it will happen.

BTW almost every american poster on this topic has been proof of why people hate the US. You too aragant for your own good,  and its annoying.. But I can't wait for China to outgrow your economy.. =)

Meh I can't make my own thread due to unfair bias so I will just put it here.

Canada:  Their army is on vacation, they say Eh all the time for no reason, their parliment is in an igloo, and all their land is good for is growing vast tracts of moose.

Everyone else seems to forget that WE hold most of the world's nuclear weapons. The problem is our leaders are too sissy to use it. In reality, if America wanted to take over the world, we could. We have the tech, we have the numbers, now all we need is the lack of fear.
The stem of our arrogance is that we have been a world superpower for 60 years, and we outlasted the USSR.
About China, their economy will outgrow ours in somewhere from 20-50 years; a lot of time to bounce back from this recession.

Nationalism: having nearly the exact same threads, but about Canada/France locked, yet having this one remain.
