I've seen hundreds of poeple with over 2,000, 3,000, or 4,000 forum posts now. So exactly how long does it take for you to get that many?
The way I see it either you spend about a week posting the letter "a" or something on every thread or you spend like a year posting 7, 8, or 9 things on threads each day.

Just as a reference point, took me a year and a half.
Overall though, it totally depends. How much time do you spend posting and whatnot.

It depends on how active you are. I have been here for about 11 months now, but I have had long periods of inactivity. The most I've gotten in one day is about 190. If you can do that every day (which I cannot), you should reach 2000 in about 10-11 days. But I do not recommend doing that.

I just broke the 2000 barrier, and I signed up in mid February this year. However taking into account breaks from the site, probably about 7 months.
It differs for everyone I'm sure. I would also venture that the forums you use most would also be a factor in how fast your post count rises.

2.5 months for ~650 posts. Quite slow for me cause I'm usually a post *****. Also, take away 3-4 weeks due to inactivity/bans.
