YOS that is actually not a definition of pro.  It stands for professional, which in turn means: following a line of conduct as though it were a profession.  Or in other words, doing something as if it were your job...because you get paid to do it.

Is your only job in life to play colony?  No, it's not.

One of the deffinitions of pro is, showing a high degree of skill.

Then it should be in the skill game section?

But as far as pro goes, Colony is very easy to learn how to play 'pro'. All one person needs to do is to learn the strategies and counters. There is a little skill when it comes to microing, but the one lane really makes that easy.

I like the idea of a tournament...Perhaps we can have an organized system where two players form a team and report in their wins and losses in a series of elimination.  Here's how it would work:

Let's say we have 10 teams:

The Tigers
The Cobras
The Sea Lions (fierce sounding no?)
The Lions
The Sharks
The Beasts
The Animals
The Leopards
The Koalas
The Flying Squirrels

These are teams that have signed up.

Each team consists of two players.  Every time they play a game against another organized team, they report to the main forum, the loser gets eliminated and the winner moves on to the next round to face another winner of round 1.

This would not determine who the "best" players in Colony are, however it would be fun.  And is it worth it? Sure.  I'd be happy to moderate one of these tournies this weekend.  Please let me know if you'd be interested in partaking!

It would determine the best team that signed up.

1vs1=who the best player is.
2vs2=who the best players are put together.
1vs2=how well you do by yourself.

Memories about a game that's not even a year old?

Also, this thread has no "memories" in any recent pages and seems to be a limb of General Colony Discussion.
