Cuz firetail_madness has an underscore but his url works without it, is it because of the URL? Like, if i type http://armorgames.com/user/j_d_o_g-----gpart_y it would still go to my profile. And because of that you cant put hypins/underscores in usernames. Is that why?

Posted Nov 3, '09 at 10:06pm Gantic 1,114 posts Moderator	Dunno if you can't make usernames with underscores anymore but accounts can get crossed if two people have the same letters and numbers in their username so if someone made jdogg_party then at some point for some reason, both profiles will link to one account, so that the other account is inaccessible. (The correct comments can still be accessed if you know the user id number.)

Posted Nov 3, '09 at 10:53pm Freakenstein 466 posts	There is another reason why, but deals with the same thing. Gist is, you could be able to make blank profile names with just underscores. Glad it got fixed, after a lot of complaining about it ;-)
