Well, what has happened is that i have been delivered Cod:MW2 Today (6th November). I had pre-ordered the game, but i find it has been delivered to me 3-4 days early :D

I am Sooooooo Happy :D

However, i haven't played it yet....

What!? I hear you scream

Well, the thing is, i have heard that playing a game online/offline before it's official release fate will result in a ban.

I beilive it's the retailers fault for dispatching the game to me early

So, What do you think, is it safe for me to play it NOW, or should i wait?

I'm have this game,i have buyed yesterday,i'm play offline,but i think its better wait for play online.

Just go through the campaign... Thats wat I would do. I love playing te campaign first with most online games. Not to mention barely anyone else has it. So u'd be playing it by yourself pretty much. Thats not terribly to fun now is it haha... Anyways play through the campaign, get your achievements or watever, then the day it is released go ahead and play online..

You can only get banned for playing ONLINE. Also, please don't reveal any spoilers for us :)

just play solo but make a new account and try it so you dont care about getting banned.

ah well its the prestige edition anyway so its WAY worth it

JUST to make sure.... sign out of your online network like psn or xbox live and THEN play the campiegn... just so theres no history

you will only get banned if u have an illegal copy. like some had it then copied it and gave it to u. if u get the game early its not ur fault and u shouldnt get banned for it, the company that gave it to u early is usually the one that gets in trouble

and people have already played it online, the only thing they did about it was reset the leaderboards

But i have played online aswell :P And as AntiHero said i can only get banned if the copy is illegal, but i think they might reset the leader boards so i am mainly doing the campaign mode.
