I've read the first book in the series so yesterday I went with my friend to go see it. There was some good battles and stuff like that, but the acting was crap. *shiver* it made me want to puke out my guts like three times over. But overall I liked it okay. 7/10 or 3.5/5 stars
Reflection: This had pretty bad graphics and horrible acting, but the battles, the story, and the cast made up for it. The cast fit the story really well, but they did not do a very good job in the acting secion.

It is rather hard to actually get your hands on the books here because it seems to have only gotten popular after the movie came out, so I haven't read it. The movie was alright, there was a lot of funny moments and knowing a bit about the myths just makes it interesting in general. A bit disappointed with Hades (the place), but otherwise interesting to watch.
Haha, my friend was DYING to see this movie. He was obsessed with the book, he was like... literally screaming at me to hurry up, when we had like thirty minutes until the movie started... we where buying a soda, rofl.
Overall though, I think it was a pretty decent movie! I didn't think it was amazing, but on the other hand, it wasn't terrible. Haha, some parts I was saying to myself, I thought this was rated PG?
No, there can't be a second one because the daughter of Ares, Clarese was not included in the movie. Or maybe they will make a second one. In that case, they will butcher the storyline just like the first one. If you read the books, don't see it. If you didn't read the books, don't see it. The graphics were bad, and, most of all, who the hell leaves gas and the keys in a show car?
In the second one, they will probably not stick to the storyline as much and it will probably not be as good. Most sequels aren't as good as the original.
