Remember the days when vampires sucked blood and not pe-nis?

Good days..

I usually don't agree with you samy, but dammit, you're right.

Vampires are not glitter covered perfect in every way thin little white emo kids.
They are evil night walkers who drink human blood and have a phobia for garlic and holy water.

I have seen vampires.
Here. They. Are.
They look a little different; don't you think?

Yes.

But then I watched Rosario + Vampire and my beliefs were restored.

It's made them extremely dull, soft, and annoying...  and I haven't even seen the movies.  Just the previews are enough to make me hate it.

Real vampires don't sparkle.

In fact, 'real' vampires are thought to be based upon those who suffer from a group of disorders known as porphyria. Essentially, this involves a failure to produce haemoglobin, which results in anaemia. Certain subtypes of porphyria also cause photosensitivity. But it's hard to say whether the origins of vampiric folklore actually relate to porphyria itself, since the features of vampires have changed over the ages and medical documentation certainly doesn't follow the definitions we now use!

Oh I do so love your medical point of view Mr. Strop.
And indeed, vampires do not sparkle. I haven't read any of the books or watched any of the movies. But a vampire is like the 70s and 80s Dracula, you know the one that kills everyone sucks their blood and is merciless. Vampires were originally killers, not a pretty boy that falls in love with a clumsy girl and has to fight a werewolf.
There are in fact some accounts of real vampires. Or at least people drinking the blood of others, but then there are "modern" plays with blood that I won't even go into.
