I don't see how you guys are classifying 1408 as a horror movie.
I'd probably go with The Hills Have Eyes (First One) or that new Halloween was pretty good.

I have 2 favorites. 28 Weeks later was pretty awesome and really good! Oh and the other one would have to be Dawn of the Dead wasn't scary I just loved the movie!
