Hello, Im going to show you cool way to multiply 2 numbers
first chose 2 numbers
for example 212 x 311
Draw an vertical line for every digit in first number and draw horizontal line for every digit in second number Like this:
Now...you need to count intersections to get result to make it easyer for you I will mark which intersections you need to count to get which number
to get 1st number count all intersections in red square to get 2nd number count all intersections in green squares to get 3rd number count all intersections in blue squares to get 4th number count all intersections in pink squares to get 5th number count all intersections in orange square
If you counted it correct, you shoud get 65932 and that is result
ok, now lets see how to do it when total intersections for one number are bigger than 9 for example
324 x 426
when numbers are bigger than 9, you need to add 1st digit from that number to 2nd digit to number left from it
ok, now what if number has 0 in it like
210 x 303
zero-s are marked with dashed line, you do it same as previous ones but when you are counting intersections, you are counting norman and pretending that dashed lines dont exist
Ok, now when you know all that you can show off to your friends lol ohh...and I forgot to mention you can do it any 2 numbers, you just need to know which intersections are for what number
here is example of 2 digit x 2 digit and 3 digit x 2 digit
Thats all, I hope I explained it good enought...have a nice day
Uhm... this is a great way, but doesn't it take a lot longer than just 15 X15 ____ 75
Sorry I didn't finish the equasion, I tried to add another line, and I clicked tab, and it didn't work, but instead it highlighted the submit button. I pressed enter to add a new line, and shapow! It posted lol.
