Background:
I drew this in 45minutes during math class which is why it is on graph paper. I'm not in any classes for drawing, or even an art class. Sure I doodle every so often but nothing seriously like this. I did not trace it, I DID draw it. It is a copy from the album Plastic Beach by the Gorillaz. It seems i'm only able to draw well, if i see it. I'm not able to draw off the top of my head, any tips on doing that?

Ok i see what you are saying with the phalanges, especially in my forefinger. And as for the shading advice, thank-you. I don't own any "special" art pencils, by that i mean i just use a regular #2 pencil often just drawing during class.
I have, as of yet, had art in high school, only like in 7th grade, so i'm hesitant to go out and buy art pencils. I know about hard and soft, and higher the number the harder or softer it is etc. but never have used them, but i will ask my digital design teacher if she has any(since we have to draw at times in there). I will test it out and post my next drawing.

looking back at it, i did not give the original picture props since there is more to it than just him, i had just ran out of room on the paper :\\. The original is of Murdoc holding a tiki cup with the rest of the band in it and him looking at it with that face. It's from the album plastic beach.

Drew this in about 7-Minutes, i broke off from what my other drawing were like and decided to add one of my doodlez. ( i have a lot more but don't like the way they look)

It is obviously a Knight, say what ever you would like about it, good, bad, constructive, blah! My own problems with it would be the pecs, and the abs,but i use these kinds of doodles to practice my details such as the abs, pecs, arms, body, and legs. I can also see a problem with the size of the head compared to the body.

Also, if possible, anyone have any tips on drawing feet/shoes? I have had the biggest problem with them!

Drew this just now. I originally was thinking of holding it until the Pokemon Drawing Contest does Luxray...But i figured it would be more of a practice drawing it because I merely copied from the book ("The Official Guide from Nintendo Power, Nintendo DS, Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Version&quot

Those little specs and dots aren't supposed to be there, mustve been on the copier.

I will be honest, it took me a little over an hour to draw it, closer to an hour and a half.

It's very good overall; I can stil remember how I started to draw with simple pokemons like muk when I was very young. I still enjoy drawing them little criters as much as back then ^^.
It's very good, you've got a real sense of proportion. My only advice would be to work on that coloring; you can see the direction of the pencil traits where it's darker fur. It's like cleaning a window; straight lines will leave visible marks.
Aaahh, if only I had a ood scanner at hand...*Sigh*
I like luxray, even though he's not that good of a pokemon.

TY!
I spent the longest time trying to figure out how to draw yellow, blue, and black using just a pencil. Let alone the shading!
I ended up trying to "smooth" out my shading by smudging it with my finger...As for the straight lines; How can I go about fixing that?
But i also was aware it looked like that so i was trying to make the coloring-in look more like fur possibly, esp. in the butt area.

For the Knight, try to work on proportions. (How tall, how long his arms are in comparison to body, head, etc).

And nice Luxray. Good job on the highlights on the hind paw.

Pretty close. When you draw, make sure you keep an eye on the proportions of what you are drawing. His face is just a bit narrower in your drawing than the original, and the placement of his eyes are not as far off as you have it.

Practice. Practice. Practice. And when you think you might be getting the hang of it, practice some more before you practice some more. Once your pencil becomes an extension of your body, practice even more than you did before.

Allow yourself to make mistakes.

This is my first ink, took 4 of my own face and drew them, I will say i DID trace them, but I still felt i should post it for any feedback if any...

My take on a Swinub pushing threw a snow storm, i wasn't sure how to make it seem like it was snowing....i apologize for the darkness of the picture, i had to adjust it so you could see those very feint lines...
