Gate13: You have Felicity on Relentless and Veradux on Phalanx, yes? That will help. Freeze combo one of the RPs into oblivion and repeat with other. As I mentioned to another who had the problem, ignore the Android entirely until the RPs are gone. Also as the guide mentioned I would transfer the Emerald Death weapon to Felicity so that you could do greater damage. Casting Ice Wall on Vera also helps.
Mephistopholes8992: With most, if not all of the Cold Hydro's techs, the damage inflicted scales with Instinct. More Instinct = More Damage. Vera's healing also seems to scale with Instinct.

Why tackle both hounds in the caretaker/specialist and 2 blood hounds fight if you can cast ice wall on a hound??

Gate13: Well, one weapon that you could equip on Sonny if he's high enough in level and you have the money is Law Binder. That one's pretty good. I'm not sure what to give Felicity other than Riot Gun since I was incorrectly operating on the assumption that you had Emerald Death and just forgot to equip Felicity with it. If I recall you said Vera had Lavastone Barrier and Frozen Runeblade? That's a good combo to have for now. All I can think of if your whole team dies before any of them go down is maybe increase everybody's Vitality through equipment (the titanium gloves and boots in the z5 shop should give you some good Vitality bonuses, along with the Riot Shield, which could be paired with Frozen Runeblade or Azure Flatblade depending on who you're equipping).
Monkey564: I think you're thinking of the Biological's Crystalize, which functions completely different from Ice Wall. Crystallize stuns the target for two turns but makes them immune to damage of any kind for those turns, whereas Ice Wall reduces damage inflicted upon the target and boosts healing. So you really don't want to cast Ice Wall on the hounds as that will make your fight harder (I have no idea why they made it so you can cast Ice Wall on enemies since it's a beneficial move).

your not the only one with problems getting past that stage, i still cant get pass it. i try to mind freeze one of the rp when the other has like 9k to 7k hp left, preventing him from healing the other rp, but best to wait until the android is stunned for like 5 turns i think, and thats the best time to kill the first rp and go for the second rp, but i never got to there cuz vera always dies b4 that happens

As far as stats are concerned, I cannot exactly remember my party's stats at that point, since I am way past that point and into z7. So I'm afraid I might not be able to provide a benchmark for your party's stats at that point in time. I'm having a little trouble coming up with more advice since I myself didn't have much trouble with this particular battle. I would try to focus entirely on one RP until they are dead, even if they have been healed by the other (your party's attacks combined should probably inflict equal or greater damage than the amount healed and even if it doesn't the healing tech if I recall has a long enough cooldown that you should be able to get the RP's HP to a point lower than when he was healed before the tech gets cast again) or shielded by the android (your attacks will pierce the shield in a couple turns or it will wear off, and under the freeze combo the one RP shouldn't be able to do much besides the basic attack). I'm sorry that I cannot be of more help.

Well i must have had a very easy run because when i did the RP and Android Guard battle i found it easy. I just didn't die. When Ice Wall is cast on Vera he should be taking a Max of 500 damage and healing around 1500 i think. So you should have no problem when he is being attacked. You cna also cast Ice Wall on yourself and Felicity. Ice Wall is the key to most battles. Make sure your Instinct is around 250 and your Vitality is around 150 so you all have 5k Hp.
