Everyone's a little bit racist... the sooner we realize that, the sooner we can stop calling each other bigots and accept that stereotyping is FUNNY. We all laugh at jokes about other races, and if we have a sense of humor, about our own race. You need to learn to get over the fact. Granted, I grew up as a white minority in a border community, so I know what it's like to be discriminated against, and it really didn't bother me. Made me learn that there'll always be different treatment for different people based on race, we all make little judgments about each other before we meet each other, whether conscious or not... we just need to learn to accept that as truth instead of denying it.
you can honestly think that are you kidding me. Not everyone is racist. My best friend is mexican i have tons of black and asian friends. And unless im racist agasint myself i dont think i am. The world needs to realize that just because someone looks different that they can do everything u can do. The fact that some people are still racist is sad but it will never change
You're just denying it. Do you ever laugh at black jokes? Mexican jokes? Asian jokes? Polack jokes? Indian jokes? And I bet you do. That doesn't make you a bad person, because everybody does it. I have plenty of Mexican friends, a couple of black friends, even Indian friends (Casino Indians, not Slurpee Indians).
Personaly, I beleive that one of the most anoying forms of racism, other than the straight up racism, is that racism that comes from people who work too hard to not be racist.
Some people will try so hard not to be racist that they will treat different races better than their own trying to give out that message "I care for you because you are a different race than me and it is not fair that people are racist against your kind." Basicly they are being racist by having pity for people who more than likely did not deserve or need their pity in the first place and the only reason why they got pity was not because they were abused, treated bad, or anything else... but because they were of a different race. Isn't it still racism to have pity on people only because they are a different race?
I have no pity for anybody. Racism is a sick, jerk thing to do. Racists should burn in hell, just coz they are a certain color, dont mean they better than anyone else.
Well, sometimes it is not just the color of the skin that makes people racist, i think that it is the way that different races act that make some racists mad

I'll be the first one to admit that I'm racist. And we all are. We all make little judgments based on race on people we don't know. Is it wrong? Maybe, but we all do it. If you were walking down the street and you saw a black man dressed in shabby clothes, wouldn't your first instinct be just to be a LITTLE bit cautious? Probably. Even if that's not the case, you make some judgments based solely on race, though you may not think about it. The sooner we learn to accept that we're all racist, the sooner we can move past it and just be ourselves and get along.
I said nothing about dislike, I said you make judgments about him. Which you probably do, you probably decide to be a little more cautious based on the stereotypes that are a part of our culture.
If I see a black man in shabby clothes and i dont like him, that is not necissarily racism. Who knows why I do not like him? Racism is not who you hate but why. I would probbaly dislike the man because of how he wor his clothes, though I would base most of my judgment in how he acts.
