If so, do other things from HTML work, like bolding/underlining/changing size?

The bottom example is the top example seems related to something along the lines of complicated Javascript or ActionScript but again I am probably wrong

Woops, you posted right before me. In my previous post, I was replying to lalala12.

The top example was supposed to be the same as the bottom, but didn't work. Also, it's HTML, not Javascript.

the top seemed familiar to me since I have been studying Javascript lately. The bottom was obviously HTML, I had no idea you could use it in colony chat...

No, both are HTML. &gt; is supposed to make > (gt = greater than) and &lt supposed to make < (lt = less than). This didn't work here, however.

What are you talking about? < body > is different than < font >. And only a (full) HTML page needs < body> and < head> tags.

Actually, someone else did it and said it was HTML, and so that was how I found out that HTML < font > worked.
