This is a debate I got into recently with a friend of mine over the greatest band of all time. She said The Beatles, I said Led Zeppelin. Which one do you guys think is better, but don't post anything that doesn't have legitimate backup, and don't just support or refute someone else's point without proper justification.
While I personally think Led Zeppelin is one of the greatest bands of all time and I'm not a big fan of the Beatles, I still have to say the Beatles were probably a greater band because of thier overall impact on music as a whole. Don't get me wrong, Zeppelin also had a huge impact on classic rock and metal but the Beatles were a much bigger band and influenced many many more artists. So even though I don't care for the Beatles too much, I still have to respect what they did to the music world.
