Hello. (I'll do a proper intro at some point. First time user, long time lurker).
It's a quick question regarding a little popup I keep getting which is preventing me from playing game. It usually says "x is requesting permission to store information on your computer. Accept/Deny"
x is normally "cache.armorgames.com", but the pop up is unclickable. I can neither accept nor deny it access, and when I tab through the page it highlights the buttons, but not space, nor return, nor any key or click will remove this popup. It stops the game from progressing and leaves me frustrated.
I've deleted my history and cache and cookies, I've upgraded to the latest version of flash but it keeps on happening. Most notably in the wildly addictive new game, Corporation Inc.
I apologise if this is a duplicate thread but I haven't seen any in the last couple of pages of this forum. Any advice? Anybody?
It sounds like you have trouble with only the pop up. There are two ways that you can do this, so here goes nothing....
1) Try going to Tools, and Options. Under "advanced", go to "Network". You should have some sort of cache storage option where it says "offline storage". Give it some juice, like 20MB's or so. When you go to play a game, the popups should stop, and your games should be able to save.
2) Try going to any game. I like SonnyII, since the preloader is quicker. What you need to do is right click on the box where the game will load and click on "settings". This should bring up the adobe flash player settings. Give this some juice, like 10MB's or unlimited. Once done, you should be able to eliminate that pop up and have your games saved.
If these two don't work, then come post here again and I'll try and figure out some other ways
I right-clicked, clicked Settings, but once that box appeared I couldn't physically click it to adjust any of it, just like the permission box itself. (Requested up to: 1MB, currently used: 99KB)
I've even worked out that by tabbing and pressing space, I can press the little blue question mark which takes me to the Flash site, but not the Accept or Deny buttons.
Am using Firefox on Macbook Pro 10.6.3... is it just worth trying a different browser?
I don't know, on the not addicting at all game bubble tanks arenas ( no offence to anyone ) I am able to click it. Try reinstalling flash or i would suggest going to a library with your computer and asking a tech director.
