Mine was technically the Sega, but I was young and it was my parents who bought it. The first System I bought was a PlayStation, first game was Final Fantasy,and the door to RPG's was opened for me lol.

SNES was the first one I played, and the first game I played was LoZ: Link to the Past. My love for Zelda stems from a very early age.
However, the first system I actually bought with my own money was a Gameboy Color.

Atari 2600 - nes - gameboy - snes - sega 32x - n64 - gameboy color - psx - gamecube - ps2 - x360 - (next ps4) and i have a pc/mac since 1987.
