As for me, I don't have the answer. I expect so, but you best wait for someone more equipped to give you an answer.

I wouldn't take it as a definitive answer either. Sounds like a search system is in the works, but again, this thread is a month or so old.

Yes, the search system is in the works, and we're hoping to allow you to set privacy controls that will allow certain aspects of your profile to be searchable such as "find a friend by their Email address" or "find a friend by their xbox username" that sort of thing. But we'll definitely have a "search for username" feature.
