Do not like Firefox; it's slow, disconnects frequently and is an all-around pain to use.  My sister believes it to be "the saint of web-browsers", but I have seen her time and time again struggle with the most basic of functions while using it. The problem is not her, and I don't want insults directed at her, the issue is the program. Bottom line: If she was not so adamant about using it, I never would have downloaded it in the first place.

She is 22 and single, BTW.

So? Why does that matter, again?

Right now I use explorer, but I've used firefox in the past and found it helpful. But right now, I'm just more familiarized with explorer.

IE<F-Fox<Safari

Safari rules all!!!!!

No really, I run both and safari is faster (a lot faster) and still has translator and spellcheck (among other things...)

Though Safari lacks the add-ons and freezes my PC.

Firefox = Awesome

Internet Explorer = Fail

Some of the suggested add-ons in this thread are really useful. I have my own batch of add-ons that I like to use:

Theme: Utopia FFSE White: Looks really cool and is very compact. Highly recommended.

Download Statusbar: Replaces that annoying download pop-up with, well, a statusbar. Very customizable. Highly recommended.

New Tab Homepage: When you open a new tab, it automatically goes to your homepage. Really convenient. Recommended.

Smart Bookmarks Bar: It hides the names of your bookmarks in the bookmarks bar. They show only when you put your mouse over the icon. Good if you have a lot of bookmarks. Highly recommended.

Tab Scope: Allows you to preview and navigate tab contents through a mini pop-up below the tab. Look really cool.

Tab to Window: Allows you to open a tab in a new window. Convenient.

Undo Closed Tab: It basically does what the name suggests. Very convenient. Highly recommended.

Firefox is my ultimate browser, it's the best thing that has happened to the internet in a while.

Foxytunes

Sounds interesting. I usually just use Itunes, but that sounds like a nice way to cut back on lag.

I just installed FF a few days ago. Never took the time to do it before because i'm lazy, but it's very useful now. =]

Meh.  I haven't actually ever tried using FoxyTunes. Personally I find it easier to just use iTunes or Windows Media Player but I guess your computer uses less RAM when it doesn't have to open another program.

My computer is having memory issues :(
