Every browser pretty much as a search bar in the address bar (Opera, IE, Firefox, Chrome... etc.)

You can also get more than Google in the search bars.

What we need is a search bar on the desktop, :P

I would recommend staying away from Firefox.

That is, unless you're all a bunch of Firefox diehard fans...

I downloaded Firefox, and I used it for a single week.
In that week, I was bombarded with pages and pages of virus reports, every single day. A single page is more than I get from IE In more than a year.

Most of the sites I visit can't be viewed by Firefox, and that even if they were, it would take twice as long to load them, and to rendered crappily.

Firefox doesn't even pass guideline browser tests.

Dude... I'm guessing you're just unlucky, I've only had a problem with Firefox once, and that was because the website I was trying to view was build to only work in IE. Idiotic, I know.

Yes, you can. You will just have two browsers, and you should be able to use both of them at the same time, just not logged in in the same places.

Really. I have used Firefox for quite a while now and before that i used IE and generally you get less viruses on Firefox than IE.

Have you gotten new anti-virus software in that period?
If so... Your new Anti-Virus software would have been better than your old Anti-Virus software.

Anti-Virus software is the main reason you don't get infected everyday.

Since I use a leading brand in Anti-Virus software (Nod32) I have never got infected as it always stops them coming in.

So Stop talking about FF/IE has better Virus protection than the other one - it is mainly the Anti-Virus software that counts. I suggest using Nod32. (But I think it costs $60 a year?)

True but most viruses are designed for IE as it is the most common browser.

Yeah... Ok I've got a problem

My eyes are use to IE words but now when I Just switched to FF the words are slimmer and my eyes are sore just looking at it. Like they are REALLY thin. Can I change this some how?

I find using a variety of things seems to work the best for me. Sometimes I use IE, other times FF. I hardly ever receive virus warnings as I have multiple anti-virus programs.

Actually, Google Chrome  Is better than FireFox.

I heard that was fast until you got kicked off, then it was insane trying to get back online =/

I use FF now, but I think i'm going to start using IE for games again because I used to load things way faster when I used it, like YouTube-type videos and flash games.
