rather than use 'fasterfox', go straight into the configuration file to change the settings yourself. fasterfox is only for firefox up to version 2. not 3.something which is the current version. also, foof is a good alternative to adblock plus, it uses the same system as adblock plus, but allows you to choose what to display in the space. you can put a rss feed where the ad used to be, or display your pictures in the space. or you can eradicate the ads all together.

I tried firefox because I heard about it from a friend, I have never gone back to IE. I actually hate to use it. Firefox feels like it is mine, because of how I customize it! If everyone used firefox, then there would be less miss-spellings around. Currently I am not at my house, so I am stuck useing IE :-(

remember that loophole in 2006 where ie users were at risk of loosing personal info? with firefox, that cant happen! (i think) firefox has certain security features, one of which is being open-source, other developers can modify firefox. if a loophole is found, it is patched almost instantly. go firefox w00t!

Like previously stated I to prefer google chrome. Mozilla may do everything chrome can do, but chrome doesn't use up as much memory.

memory isnt a problem on most pcs, anyone who gets less than 512MB (1gb recommended min) is... well... stupid.
