If you haven't tried the iMacros add-on you need to give it a whirl.. Saves a lot of time and works great.

Firefox is the best browser because of the addons and some features. I'm currently running 3.5 beta 4, and it has quite some improvements from 3.0/3.1(was running 3.1 beta, but I don't know whether 3.1 became 3.5)

The list of active addons printed by mr Tech Toolkit(and I removed the unused and obvious ones(like java etc)):

# All-in-One Sidebar 0.7.10 - very organizing
# British English Dictionary 1.19 - quite useful when typing
# Cooliris 1.10 - nice thing to search for images
# DownloadHelper 4.4.1 - useful when downloading things
# Extended Statusbar 1.5.3 - useful when downloading things
# FaviconizeTab 0.9.8.2 - useful to make your tab-bar smaller
# FlashGot 1.1.9 - nice for using download mangers
# GooglePreview 3.21 - always nice to see where you're going
# Greasemonkey 0.8.20090123.1 - I use it to make google black
# HashColouredTabs+ 0.4.21 useful for identifying tabs(it almost seems a normal feature)
# Image Toolbar 0.6.5 - useful for downloading images
# MR Tech Toolkit 6.0.3.3 - useful for installing firefox 3.0 addons that work perfectly on 3.5, but don't say they support it
# PDF Download 2.2.0.2 - I just hate having to open pdf's in my browser
# Right-Click-Link 1.1.3 - I also hate pressing Ctrl-C Ctrl-T Ctrl-V Enter
# Speed Dial 0.9.0.3 - The most useful homepage ever(AG is one of my 16 dials)
# Status-bar Scientific Calculator 4.5 - I always want to calculate things without having to boot up calculator
# Tab Scope 0.2.2.11 - Another way to see where you're going
# United States English Dictionary 3.0.3 - English isn't my native language
# Update Notifier 0.1.5.4 - Good for quick installs of updates
# WOT 20090325 - I just always want to know whether a site is obtrusive

I use the theme NASA Night-Launch, because it's black and it fits perfectly in my windows skin.

Anyway, you see that I'm quite a firefox-enthusiast.

(Have you already tried putting in about:robots and about:mozilla in your address-bar?)
