_______________________________________________________________________________

Welcome to the Know Your Armor Games Quiz, a quiz that tests your knowledge of Armor Games.

The Rules: The Quiz:
- Answer as many questions as possible.
- You do not have to answer all of the questions from memory.
- All the questions have a point value indicated in brackets to the right of the question number.
- There is no penalty for getting a question wrong or skipping a question, so don't be afraid to guess.
- Answer a question correct to get the points for that question.
- There are a total of 55 questions and 172 total points.
- The winner is the user with the most points.

The Rules: How to Submit Answers:
- To submit your answers simply copy the questions from the original post and put the answers underneath each question. Then post your answers (the questions with the answers beneath them) to this thread (before the deadline).
(You may also submit your answers by just numbering them. But they must be numbered in an easy to read way and the numbers, to the answers, must corresponded to the proper questions.)
- There is a 10 point penalty if you do not post your answers to the questions in a proper format (under the questions or with the corresponding numbers).
- Submit all your answers in one post.
- You can only submit your answers once, so be careful before you submit them. Look over your answers thoroughly before submitting.
- There is a 10 point penalty if you do not post your answers to the questions in a proper format.

The Rules: No Cheating:
- Don't cheat. If you copy and paste another users answers you are cheating. I should be able to tell if you are cheating.
- If you are expected of cheating and want to dispute it, you may e-mail me at KnowYourAGQ@hushmail.com and we will discuss it.

The Rules: The Prizes (Winning):
- The prize for winning the challenge is a 640 x 800 jpeg, graphic art, trophy image, made in GIMP by me, and customized with the winners user name. It will be posted on the forum in this topic.
- The winner may feel free to save the image to their hard drive and use it as they wish.
- If there are multiple winners I will just post one generic trophy in this thread and then list all the winners underneath and congratulate them or something like that.
- This contest is unofficial. So there is no merit prize.

The Rules: Deadline:
- The deadline will be on January 8, 2010 9AM (Pacific Time Zone UTC -8:00) (5pm UTC-0:00)
The deadline may be extended. If your submission is late don't worry. If I haven't posted the winners submit your answers anyway.

- If you have any further questions feel free to ask them in this thread or e-mail me at KnowYourAGQ@hushmail.com (I may not respond right away on the e-mail).

- Many thanks to Strop who inspired this quiz, allowed me to use some of his questions, and proof read the quiz.

If they care about this quiz they can use disposable addresses or alts.

I thought of that too, but I didn't want to deter someone from taking the quiz by adding all sorts of extra steps. Plus, even if the quiz was posted here and then done by e-mail, someone still might post their answers here. I'm not a mod so I wouldn't be able to delete those posts.

Well, lol I could have had the eople post the answers to my profile, then copy there answers along with their names locally to my computer. But then the thread would have needed to be stickied or bumped.

Lol, oh well I already started it so.

I did consider that, but you get what I'm saying. Also I could have had people e-mail the answers to me, but then the thread wouldn't stay up at the top 9current) in the forums. Also, users would be giving me their e-mail address and they may not be comfortable with that.
I do believe Firetail did something like this awhile back. They would ask a question or two at a time and the first one to answer it correctly would get a point, then they would ask another question and keep track of the total points. After 10 or so questions, the person with the highest score wins.

I'd like to add onto what I was saying... If you did it this way, it would be easier and more people would want to join an participate.

Idk, are any of those answers right?
You do know the answers to the questions right? I think that was a hint of sarcasm, but I wasn't sure.

I didn't think of going one question at a time. That would have been a good way to do it, but at least this way you can join in late and don't have to worry about missing a question.

Well, that sentence didn't work to the effect I wanted. I was trying to get at that you could copy other peoples answers, but, if you're looking to win, your best bet is to get the answers yourself, because we (you) don't know who has what answers down correct. You may very well be copying someone who had 10 or so answers wrong.

It just seemed to work pretty good for them that way. I wish I could find that old thread.. that was years ago.

I just didn't of it that way, but it's still a 50/50 chance of someone copying.

It's late here and I could probably use some sleep. Sorry for the double post. I just needed to fix that.

The 2nd ArmorGames Test You can use this as an example Reton.

Well there is a 12/20 percent chance that someone will copy these answers as soon as someone else posts it.

Might I ask how did you come up with a percent like that? It seems you thought it out.

Reton, hopefully that link I provided will give you some insight on how to make this Quiz just as successful.

These answers aren't intended to entirely be extracted from memory. You have to look in the right places.

Also, this could be much bigger if Reton was around in the old days. ;D

I get what your saying. It was interesting to see an older quiz. (BTW why the webmail. before the armorgames in the link?)

Yup, it's in the rules:
- You do not have to answer all of the questions from memory.

Yeah, I could have known more stuff about the site lol, but my post count and AP don't really give a good indication of how long I've been on the site. Member since July 25, 2009. I even have some old forum post from back then.

I did want the quiz to have questions of different difficulties, this way a new user could still easily answer some questions and that it might acclimate them with the rules, and at the same time still give a veteran some sort of challenge.

You know, you're being useless by making that post. If you have nothing worthwhile to add, don't.

What are you even talking about?!

Not only did I make the entire post myself, which included organizing the rules, I gave credit to the moderator Strop who inspired me to make this, allowed me to use some of his questions, and he even proof read the quiz for me before I posted it. I am also giving a prize (custom made GIMP art trophy made by myself) to the winner. I didn't know there were previous quizs like this before, and formulated all the questions that weren't Strop's on my own.

If you don't want to do the quiz don't post in it, you're really ticking me off!!!

To be honest Reton, it would be much easier if you let the people who took the quiz e-mail you the answers, it would probably make it easier and less cluttered and people couldn't cheat off of someone else's answers.

And I don't seem to remember making a quiz like that, although I made so many things I can't keep track of them all...

O, well too late now lol. At least the people who want to take the test without cheating will take it and the cheaters I should be able to spot. It doesn't matter much anyway, because the quiz is not official.
