One more thing, the 'lightweight helmet' is actually heavier than the other helmets, I don't know why it's called that, that's just its name.

So, we will be deploying you out soon, be ready. WHAT?! You don't know what we're fighting for or even who we're fighting? **** you and your incompetent instructors...*sigh* I guess you're due for a history lesson, soldier.
The year is 2110. We have been at war for ten years, since 2100. Against who? Wow, you really are clueless. Look, there are two main factions; the Allies and the Axis. For once, Germany is with the Allies. The Allied nations are the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, South Korea, Israel, Canada, Egypt, and Mexico. The Axis nations are China, North Korea, Russia, Brazil, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, and Cuba. Every other country is neutral, which means that if someone is from that country they could join either side or not join at all.
This whole war started over an assassination by some rogue extremist. Or, as the conspiracy theorists would have you believe, it started through a conspiracy by the government. Anyway, some Chinese official was assassinated and China blamed the United States and demanded that the United States pay them 100,000,000,000 USD for the incident. The United States said it was innocent, and after China was convinced, China said that somebody had to pay or else. United States forces ended up occupying nations across the globe looking for the assassin. China continued to demand payment from other countries. So eventually, some other countries joined them in the search such as Egypt, Canada, Australia, and the U.K. Some countries such as Russia, North Korea, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, etc. already had bad relations with the United States, and so were highly offended by this occupation; they all claimed their innocence as well. The United States, in a series of bad decisions, left most countries except for those they deemed "suspicious" like Russia, North Korea, Afghanistan, Iraq, Brazil, Iran, Cuba, and Palestine until the assassin had been found. China, meanwhile, continued to demand the payment. The countries that were still being occupied were beginning to become not only annoyed but paranoid. They wanted the Allied countries the hell out of their countries, and now. Under pressure from China, the Allies refused to leave their countries until the assassin had been found. The Axis finally declared war in a massive strike against the Allies, in which they lost hundreds of thousands of troops. China joined the Axis because they had not been paid their money, and Israel joined the Allies because Palestine was in the Axis. The Allies retaliated in a massive series of counterstrikes on both civilian and military targets with devastating effects on the Axis. Then Palestine, with additional equipment and troops from Russia, stormed Israel with hundreds of thousands of troops and North Korea, with additional equipment and troops from China, stormed South Korea. The Allies responded by mobilizing American and British troops to South Korea to help, and Egyptian and German troops to Israel to help. They also sent several Canadian and Australian troops to China in a counterattack. Brazilian troops marched through Mexico to get to the United States, but Mexico became belligerent and joined the war on the side of the Allies. And so the war began. You know, we never did catch that ****ed assassin.
Now that I've finished your history lesson, there are still a few things you need to know; if you die, we can revive you, but it takes a helluva lot of money and time, so try not to die. If you die, you won't get any benefits from the mission whether it was a success or not, and if you die three times, we won't revive you the fourth time...so be careful out there.
You start out as a measly private, working in a squad with other people under the command of a sergeant in a platoon under the command of a lieutenant and...well...you get the drift. But once you are promoted to Corporal, you will be transferred out of that squad and get one of your own! Cool, right? You'll even get to create the people in your squad.
If a mission is successful, you will unlock improved equipment for you to use and you will get money to buy said equipment, but you know, proceed with caution. The better your mission outcome is-the fewer friendlies who die, the more enemies who die, objective completion, etc.-is what will determine your promotion and what you unlock and get.
