It's really not that dramatic. Think an earlier, less public version of what happened with the Switchfoot account, except the initial trigger was a bunch of stolen images.
I CANNOT believe SwitchFoot did this! I am so glad he is gone. I doubt anything was true with him. If that engagment was true... then I feel sorry for her.
oh my gosh... i really can't believe the mod's would show such disrespect for one single being. im not trying to put myself out there... but people have there personal issues you know? just my opinion...
People do have their personal issues, but at no point did the moderators do Switchfoot injustice.
It just so happens that Switchfoot's personal issues made him a liability to the community. The moderators have a duty to the community moreso than any single individual, otherwise it would be favoritism, thus rulebreakers must be dealt with accordingly. Especially rulebreakers who have been given a second chance and have demonstrated that for whatever reason that they are unable to make good of it.
It's certainly true that people have issues that make it more difficult for them to get along with others etc. and they should not be judged on this basis. But in the interests of the wellbeing of the community, it was necessary to shut Switchfoot out as well as explain the extent of his behavior. Furthermore, in Switchfoot's case, this actually gives him a better chance of being able to deal with the issues that he has.
