Welcome to the First Community Hearts Project, the Community Hearts Project of 2011!

So what is it exactly? It's kind of like the Community Tile Project, only without tiles!

You, the user, are asked to draw a Heart and write a Valentine. The Project will end on Valentines Day. There is a catch though! Your cannot write the Valentine on your own Heart! You must write your Valentine on someone else's Heart! That means you must allow another user to edit your Heart after you have submitted it. The Valentine doesn't have to be to anyone in particular.

But wait! There are perks! After the Project is over, users will vote on the best Heart design and the best Valentine design. The decision for the Valentine can be influenced by the Heart design but the decision for the Heart design cannot be influenced by the Valentine. The winner of the best Heart design will be allowed to choose the next tile shape for the Community Tile Project of Spring 2011!* The winner of the best Valentine will be allowed to choose the next theme for the Community Tile Project of Spring 2011!* More on this when the Project is over.

*Pending approval by Gantic in case of impossible or extremely difficult shapes and themes.

There are several things to keep in mind when making your Valentines:

-Hearts must be submitted first, before a Valentine can be written.
-Hearts and Valentines is not limited by size, but please exercise prudence.
-Hearts and Valentines are limited to one each per user.
-Hearts and Valentines will be accepted as they are, and no further edits will be allowed.
-Hearts and Valentines must obviously relate to the theme.
-Hearts and Valentines must be completely original.
-Valentines will only be accepted if the Heart had not been used by another user.
-Valentines must be submitted before February 14th.

Get your entries in before February 14th and we'll see how this turns out. Please stick around for the voting if you enter. Feel free to post any questions or comments you have about the Project in this thread.
