In fact, some people make OOC threads to post events and disscuss about whose planning on doing what and PROFILE threads just so people can post their character sheet to prevent overcrowding the OOC thread and RP thread. It also makes things more organized since the roleplays are intermediate-advanced and the posts will be at least 3 paragraphs long. People are even making character banners so it will be easier to identify whose who. I made a few for fun in my new RP Whih leads me to wonder why nobody's making roleplays as often as an RPG.
