Rather than to have all of my ideas disseminated among the forums, I've decided to assert my coming back to Ag with a brand new thread dedicated to blend my perceptions together. Here, you'll find my pencil art - mostly uploaded and contained in another thread -, my writings and all the such things that gravitates around those, like poetry for example.

Here's my first work for this thread; it was very quickly done, as are most of my English writings. I hope it proves to be good in the end, as I haven't really thought about how it would unfold.

Of a treaty on idealism 1

It starts out as a speck of the infinite firmament, and steadily, it comes down, pounding like the stream of a river against the soaked wood of a waterwheel. Aglow despite being yet alive, it gives an unravelling feeling of warmth and comfort that shakes the cosmos to its inermost core; the universe is as any womb. Without any trace of sentience, it is somehow driven to the edges of reality by a superlative force, like the baby that forcefully crawls its way to escape the uterus, only moving by life's sheer compellin quality. You'd say that its of no interest whatsoever my bureaucratic friend, until it is of any pragmatic use of course. But isn't it the very principle of imagination to create what is not needed? Reason, reflexes and instincts are not part of this magnificent mechanism; they are the components of what we call ''survival''. It's idealism that will save the world! Like the flesh that is given life by means unnecessary for self-survival; so the idea makes its way to the door of the brain without being of any use to pragmatic life, yet it saves the world...

Be good, here's a forretress I drew for the DTP contest. I know it doesn't really compares to my usual stuff but unlike my other works, I drew this one with a single pencil shade - a mechanical pencil in fact.

If you have any suggestions for art you'd like me to draw, they'll be most welcome; know that I won't derogate from my pencil approach though.

It looks were good, kinda like a pokemon actually lol. The only thing I can suggest is to shade the main rock like base parts back, below and above were the rear two spikes are, unless the lighting is just that way, then it's good. That's just what I see besides the fact that it's awesome. Oh... I just noticed the "suggestions" where for drawings... oops. To lazy to backspace xD sorry, just draw what you want man, look forward to it

As I said, there'll be quite a good load of art here that was on my former art thread so keep coming for regular updates, and thank you.
As for the shade issue, I really didn't give it a thought because shading with a mechanical pencil seemed too strenuous; I mainly aimed for a rocky, scrapped look. It's been years since I last draw with a mechanical pencil so I guess it's not that bad huh?

Anyways, where is that Cubone I had submitted for the DTP?

Old art since I'm too busy to write anything at the moment; I'm working on a submission for a french literature contest so I'll be busy for the next month at least.

Nah and...nah.
I'm not really even aware of what is a deviant art page. I'll check what I can do for the cyclope, it's funny since I'm presently studying Homere in literature. Maybe I'll inspire myself of Ulysses tales :P

Who is Dante? You?

O.O

Oh, and while I'm at it...little tribute to kankakanka.

Its a place where artists gather anyways its nice to have because several users on here(all the art Mods) have pages and images that would be hard to find threw the forums

Poem wrote quickly for the last poetry contest.

Don't feed the hand that bites you

The young boy stands alone on the porch
With teary eyes he smears the land
Barren as if scamped by a torch
An unyielding soil for a trifling demand
And the grass grows green elsewhere
But the little man just don't care

Spade in hand and hope in mind
He turns the earth to which we owe
Day and night he toils to grind
The harsh ground so that he can sow
Seeds of life and seeds of hope
Seeds to push away the rope

As time flies a man blooms from the child
Thinned from many unfruitful harvests
But still he cares for the savage and wild
Piece of earth that reaps his assets
And though grass grows green elsewhere
How could the tall man ever care

But comes a day when his backbone aches
And his hands and feets and his resolves
Are as thin and fragile as glass flakes
A once strong soma reluctantly exolves
For years of labor gone to waste
And a damp and dusty aftertaste

On the brink of mortal existence
The lone hermit finaly looked abroad
And slowly crossed the large fence
Walking hurriedly on the vivid road
To a plain of strong and thriving grass
where he laid down and rested his mass

Arched and broken the prideful son
Slipped into a peaceful death
For giving life was the work of an eon
A work to take one man's last breath
Melting in the desired greenery
A perfect way to quench the envy

Watcher

A chill on a mirror
A spark in a paper
Brazen, tempting terror
You can't, won't deny her

Her skin, it will entice
Like bright and charming fire;
A slick, fatal mantis
With a lustful attire

However hard she shoves
You wait and bite you cheek
Not matter where she roves
You try, you cry, you're meek

But comes a time for her
When high becomes as dry
She falls, torn asunder
What's left for her to try?

If not to lose her life;
Escape the debts, the shame
You gave to her the knife
In which you saw the blame

You could not help but stare
Like always you did then
Powerless yet aware
Of her, brash and beaten

Leaking on the carpet;
Losing the resolve that
Once shimmered like sunset
She is no more so what?

You watched, and watched, and watched
Until her very end
Alas never you tried;
Too many scars to mend

When did you come back?

I thought I noticed everyone a few weeks ago?...

And try using color mi amigo.

NEVER!!
Unless I'm painting, I never use color, I'm simply not able so it'd reduce the quality of my work significantly. I'm thinking about going in an art program next year so maybe I'll learn to handle coloring properly.
