Reton8, expecting so, since previous GemCrafts were without this. However, this game (and I personally add previous GCs here) is worth more than $5, so I'll be glad to get me premium - once I'd fix the stuff with PayPal that I'm plain afraid to perform.
Is GemCraft Labyrinth getting a worse score than the previous two GemCraft's because there is some locked premium content?
Yes. In the gaming community, there will always be some petulant teenagers with some serious entitlement issues that believe the world owes them. These are the people that pay $0.01 for the humble indie bundle.
At least there's enough sensible people to know that $5 is not a lot to ask for the thousands of hours this guy has dumped into his game after producing two other amazingly successful games entirely for free.
There are people who already beaten 'Endurance' the first days the gaùe has been released. Doesn't this says something about the game. After 1 year Endurance in GC0 isn't beaten, but in this game its 'owned' the first days its out. This says 2 things about this game:
1.It isn't hard at all. (Yes, I've played it.)
2.For 5 bucks you get a game what you beat in 2 days
I hope GC2 is going to be better. I'm a huge fan of GC, but this game doesn't satisfie me and alot of other people.
GC0's endurance only has 512 waves. How do you suppose people figured that out? Could it possibly be because someone's beaten it, perhaps?
GCL was just released a few days ago, there's bound to be bugs all over the place. If you're going to fault that, go make your own game. You obviously have a better idea of what one should be than the creator of three 9+ rated games.
@Cirno At GC0 you can see 512 waves for a second at the end of the battle. Maybe thats how they figured it out ? And i'm not complaining about any bug in the game.
@Lorgar then why are the images of hereforthegemcraft saying 1337 waves ?
The images are saying that because there are that much waves. The problem there is that every wave over ~250 (depending on wave type setting) is capped at 3,333,333,333 HP. So once you can beat monsters with that amount of HP with gems in the 20s grade you can just click through the following waves until the end.
@cirno: NOBODY can beat all 510 (it's 510, not 512, we kept thinking 512 because it's a power of 2) waves in chapter 0 endurance, at least, not without macro+supercomputer+speedhack. There's just too much hp to supergem up to that amount in a human's lifetime. The 228 waves of map 78, on the other hand are manageable, if only just. labyrinth endurance is broken-monster hp caps at 3.333 billion.
1. To unlock you need a specific amulet or perhaps a combination of some. Can only name the amulet that unlocked it.
A1 : Don't have that one yet A13: Kill 12 Apparitions (Journey Amulet) M1 : 7000 monsters C11 (Challenge Amulet) M13: Wave 100 on K9 (Challenge Amulet)
2. The numbers display the multiplier you reached on that field. Bars appear on fields with a higher multiplier. 5+ shows 1 bar 10+ shows 2 bars 15+ shows 3 bars 20+ shows 4 bars
