Welcome to Delossantosjâs Song of the Week!! (mod approved)
In this thread I will post a song every week that deserves a shot in the spotlight! There will song lyrics, and most likely the music video or such to the song.
The song must be new(ish). 1.5-2 years back as a limit pending on how popular the song actually was.
I will take ANY songs for request on my page in the comments section, but just know that if only you have requested that song, odds are it wonât be picked. If youâd like me to post a song that you think deserves it, then try and get some supporters and followers!

You see... he thing is... I have a disliking for this artist! There are a few (and only a few) songs I like from him and this one is again rubbish to me... =/
He is SO full of himself (to start with) which makes me roll my eyes every time his name comes up and as for his music, he has no vibe in his music if you ask me! Take Timbaland for comparison, he gives an instant vibe to every song he touches, either for own presentation or as a producer! And that's just something Kanye West can never achieve, even if he wants to SO bad...

It starts out as somethng you grow tired of in a matter of seconds if it were the whole song, but THEN... it picks up the beat and that's just... ... *tries to find the right words* ... ...YEAH! A simple, but nice and easy settling rythym making it a great song to listen to! Excellent!! =D

If I had to choose between the two songs, I'd say the runner up beats the first choice by a mile!! =)

I didn't really like the Kanye West song, because spending 1:04 watching a little girl walking gets pretty boring. The flashing lights gave me a headache, but the music for the opening was kind of cool.

In the the runner up, I liked the drums in the opening. The lyrics were great, and the repeating of the lyrics with the beat is just fantastic. 3:08=greatest drop in the history of the world. The woodwind, (not sure which) is pretty good.

The runner-up is WAY better then the first choice. The runner up is more laid back, and the first choice is like "Look at me I'm Kanye West! I'm better then God!! You will vaporize in my awesomeness!!".

Allow me to clear some stuff up.

this album is alot different then ANY other album kanye west has done. in fact all of the lights is about his girl friend dumping him and him not being allowed to see his daughter, thats who the little girl represents at the beggining. this album truely did come from kanye wests heart and not his ego. which is why its aclaimed as high as it is

I know this song is a bit old but I want to see this song as the Song of the Week.

Song 2- Blur.

It has an epic drum beat and nice guitars and overall, gets you jumping.
