Story
You are suddenly awoken by a thorough chill that pulses through your body. Half-awake, you get out of bed and begin getting dressed. You finish, but then notice something strange: the sun isn't up, yet there is an eerie light filling your room.
You explore the rest of your house and find that you are alone. No family. You step outside. Shadowy mists are flowing everywhere, and disgruntling whispers can be heard from... somewhere. A pang of fear pierces your chest when you look around and see nothing. All that is visible in any direction more than 50 feet outside of your house is a roiling blackness.

This is a role-playing game set in a mysterious shadowy realm.

Gameplay
Up to 7 players will be accepted. Players will engage it battles with enemies that I determine. Players will request their actions to me during a battle, and I will do appropriate calculations. Players start at level 1, and will receive experience (XP) to level up for doing damage to enemies, defeating an enemy, and winning a battle (though there may be more).
Outside of battle, I will provide some guidance, but overall the players will request what to do. There are innumerable actions players can choose. When one player suggests an action, I will either post it for players to agree with or shoot down, and if a player consensus has already been reached, I will tell what happens as a result of the players' actions. If the players wish to separate and explore separately, that is fine, they need only request it. However, the hordes of enemies players encounter will NOT be weakened for a solo player.

[Sensei Bassami, Blue Wings managed to find a way into the castle in your absence. He is set upon finding the ruler of the castle and alerting him or her of the large army settled not far from the castle.

Recently, he stumbled upon to men conversing; one suggested that the leader be overthrown due to the ruler's harsh treatment of the citizens, and the other backbone-less-ly refused and decided to alert the ruler instead.

The cowardly man noticed Blue Wings and called for guards. Blue Wings cleverly avoided the guards, and now you both are attempting to follow them stealthily, with the hope that they will lead you to the king.]

You both follow the guards at a safe distance, such that they don't notice you and you don't lose track of them. However, a sudden commotion behind you breaks your focus. You quickly turn, and nothing is there...

You turn back around to see two soldiers and a shadow beast. A snarl behind you alerts you that the other guard and shadow beast have blocked your escape.

Slowly, they begin closing in.

[Okay, this is your first battle, and now you're alone against an enemy set meant for multiple players, so I'll be nice.

Also note: you have *both* of your one-handed items equipped, so you gain the effects of both whenever you attack with either.

Finally, you're going to want to be more specific with your attacks.
"attack with my lightning/thunder sword!" does not tell me which enemy, and there's a bigger problem (that hurts you). Say that an enemy has 1 health left, and you just say, "attack [that] enemy"; all four of your attacks would be used on that enemy, because you didn't tell me to do differently. In that situation, a better sentence would be "attack [that] enemy until it is defeated, then attack [the other] enemy". I'm in no way mad, just trying to help. ]

Where you attacked it, the shadow wall disappears. Slowly, nearby wisps roll in and replace the missing part. Soon the wall is healthy again.

You slide along the side of the cliff as fast as you can. The shadow wall continues to slide down the cliff, almost eagerly now. Finally, you reach the end of the thin cliff. The shadow wall slides down the outcrop you were walking on moments ago. Anger seems to emanate from it...
