First of all, if you are sure someone else has thought of this first, it is a good idea to look and see. Not only is there a thread a few below yours that addresses this:

If you look in the upper left hand corner, you can see a drop-down menu that shows "Games" by default, but the other selection is "Community". All I did was search "Custom Armatars" and I saw the threads addressing this. Please continue this there, thanks.
they wont let us. People would abuse the system, and post obsene/adult material. Sure not many would, but that few would ruin it. I like the armatars, its original.
