Why can't Bob just be ignored after it's explained to him why his posts have been deleted? If he does insult you on a personal level, he's obviously just doing it for a reaction, and he won't get the satisfaction he seeks if you don't provide it!

I would imagine it would be because if Bob has the gull to insult a Mod on a personal level, he most likely might do so to other users too, which is something that would need to be dealt with

Why would you ignore it as a moderator? Aren't you supposed to do something about it? Like issue warnings? Then bans?

And give Bob exactly what he wants? If you react to Bob's pathetic attempts to get your attention, you'll just show him how easy it is to push your buttons!

But for a mod to know if Bob is just insulting him and not other users, then they would have to waste valuable time going through all what Bob has said to make sure he isn't bothering other users. Valuable time that could be used to deal with all the other Bob's out there

Breaking the rules is breaking the rules, dude. We don't ban them because they ruffle our feathers, we ban them because it's clearly stated in the rules that "flaming, trolling, harassing, and insulting" is prohibited.

Doesn't Armor Games do IP bans? Or was that something else...? But can't you notify the ISP of this Bob and report the inappropriate comments, or was his rule-breaking not severe enough? Also can't AG log the IP addresses of Bob and see what other accounts log in with that IP address?
