Yes that's right.I myself think it was drug overdose, but the reason is yet to be explained. If you want the link to the story, here it is.http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-14262237
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amy_Winehouse That should give you everything you need to know, including a few pictures of her.In retrospect, she was a singer(mostly known for her hit "rehab"and was an alcoholic and thought to be a druggie by many.
I was watching that on the news waiting to hear more about the shooting in Norway. But then I heard that. Only reason I knew who she was was because they made fun of her in Disaster movie. But I laughed some when I heard the last time she performed was in Israel and she was booed off stage.
Well, she died at 27 like so many other great singer, I think she achieved her goal. And yes, drugs mixed with a lot of alcohol probably did the trick. ...I really liked her voice when she was sober. Pity...
It's strange how many musicians die at age 27. Anyway, if it does turn out to be a drug overdose that killed her, she probably should of gone to Rehab instead of saying 'no no no'.
[quoteIt really makes you think, is winning a grammy really worth waking up dead a few years later?[/quote] If you know what your doing (as in not taking drugs and alcohol) and being responsible with your earnings, then you should be fine.
Yeah, it puzzled me on how such famous, talented, and rich people end up killing themselves.
Probably from people watching your every move. I remember hearing that it made the news because Jennifer Aniston and her boyfriend were holding hands. I'd probably do the same knowing I have no privacy.
Yeah. How many children in Africa with no food or water do you see trying to kill themselves on a daily basis? Not near as much as celebrities. If it was suicide, they will say so on the news, just as soon as they can.Except it will most likely be twisted in a way so they can get more viewers.
I mean, that's the part I don't understand. What isn't there to handle? There are problems a lot worse than those that celebrities go through.
Criticism, hate, slander, laughter, ridicule, loss of privacy, paranoia, not being able to handle your money -> debts... I don't know if any of these actually are reasons, but I could very well imagine them to be.
