-----The Story-----

July 1, 2012: Construction of the International Space Station is completed. Call goes out for employees of all nationalities to man the station: astronauts, physicists, chemists, doctors, etc.

July 30, 2012: After undergoing a series of intensive physical and mental tests, you are hired as an astronaut for the International Space Station.

August 2, 2012: Artemis 16, the manned flight to Mars, is successfully launched from the I.S.S. On September 7, 2014, astronauts Joseph Arlington(of the United States of America) and Jian Guo Li(of the Peoples' Republic of China) become the first human beings to set foot on Mars.
August 21, 2012: The I.S.S. launches a series of satellites and robots destined for Venus. These objects all reach the planet successfully, and unprecedented amounts of information are gathered about the second planet in the solar system.

September 19, 2014: Dr. Dietrich Beckenbauer, Sc.D., acting director of the I.S.S., announces the intention to launch another, highly ambitious project. The I.S.S. intends to put human boots on the planet Venus by the year 2019 at the latest. This project is dubbed Dionysus.

January 11, 2015: You are selected by the I.S.S. as one of the astronauts to be sent to Venus. You begin extensive training for this mission.

April 16, 2018: Five astronauts that were selected for the Venus mission are sent into space on Dionysus 4.

April 30, 2018: Dionysus 4 sustains serious damage to its fuel tanks and is ordered to return to the I.S.S. immediately. The mission is aborted.

May 7, 2018: Dionysus 4 is unable to reach the I.S.S. as it is captured by the gravitational pull of a large nearby meteoroid and driven far off course. By the time it recovers from the meteoroid, it has lost its bearings.

May 21, 2018: Dionysus 4 has lost the last vestiges of its fuel by this point. Communications from the shuttle and her crew have all ceased, and the crew is given up for dead. In the public uproar following the incident, Dr. Daniel Lancaster, the longtime head of engineering sciences at the I.S.S., is forced to resign.

May 29, 2018: Dionysus 4, which has been drifting in space for the last week, is caught in the gravitational pull of an invisible black hole. It crosses the horizon line. The shuttle and her crew are nearly crushed before, by some chance miracle, it is ejected into space when the massive gravity of the black hole suddenly shifts.

June 8, 2018: The Dionysus 4 and her crew are caught once again in the gravitational pull of an alien planet, and bail out into seperate escape pods before crashlanding on the surface.
