i have no idea where to put this question so i put it here

wat does flagging do?
you flag someone when they use offensive language and stuff but then wat?
ive accidently flagged myself a couple times but nothing happened

Your a lord and don't know what flagging does? (lol) Well it marks a post/comment as spam for mods can check it out and delete / warn the user who made it. I suggest flagging users with spam or "bad" comments. Also you can flag yourself???

Each user has the ability to "Up Vote" a comment, which will allow the comment to become more promenent if several users click the Up Arrow next to the comment. On the other hand, users also have the ability to Flag a comment, which helps notify moderators if users are abusing the site.

Yet another thread that could be avoided by using the help function. As for the rest of the question, from what I have gathered, mods are let know what is flagged, and can delete posts that are flagged either all at once or individually. Obviously, if they see you flagged yourself, they can presume it was a mistake. (Mods, please correct me if I am wrong about this info ) )
