I'm not going to go digging through a year old thread, but John mentioned a lot of innovating things he was going to include into Exit Path 2. Want to know why we are disgruntled? He didn't include them. Exit Path 2 is simply the original but with poor map design, better graphics, awkward running, and more lag. Oh, and don't forget poor developer support.
As for the good reviews - what do you expect? It's a game from a big game designer; those are usually received well, so that's not something to hold over the gameplay itself.
